Bell Foods Exim Private Limited is an ISO 2200-2005 Certified Company registered and incorporated in India as per the Companies Act 1956 with its head office and plant located at Thoppumpady, Ernakulum, Kerala, India. The Parent Company, M/s. Bell Foods, was found in year 1968 by Mr. Vikraman Puthusseril and was
one of the first companies, set-up in Cochin (the Hub of the Indian Seafood Industry) to process seafood for the purpose of export to foreign
countries. Bell Food under its brand “Ocean Bell Food” is now foray into domestic markets with its 5 decades of rich experience
in quality, customer satisfaction, value for money and to fulfil the expectations of all stakeholders.
Bell Foods is specialized in supplying frozen Shrimps, Cuttle Fish, Crabs, Squid, Grouper Fish, Octopus, Vannamie and a range of processed sea foods for distribution in India and export to other countries worldwide. Bell Food has the expertise in buying superior quality raw fish / marine species from the local suppliers as well as from other landing bays in the east and west cost, quality checks, peeling, storing, plant operation & maintenance, local distribution, export, customer care, etc. A well-equipped Lab is functioning to ensure quality assurance at all stages. Bell Food’s own production plant is having a daily capacity of 35 MT and a total cold storage capacity of 2500 MT. Our export is through the Vallarpadam Container Terminal, located approx. 5km from the plant. All financial activities are audited as per local laws/regulations. For the domestic market distribution, apart from owning few independent cold storage units at metros, we also partnered with other third party tier-1 cold storage companies across PAN India. This would enable us for the seamless distribution of our seafood products across cities where we could store and distribute supply frozen seafood products within 12 hours. .
